The 2014 Russian River Beer Revival tickets will officially go on sale today Friday, June 13 at 1pm. You may purchase tickets online at http://www.stumptown.com/revival/ or at Stumptown brewery. This will be the 12^th annual festival being held at Stumptown Brewery which is located at 15045 River Rd. in Guerneville.

The festival will take place on Saturday, August 16 with the beer tasting going from 1 to 5pm. There will be thirty breweries and thirty BBQ teams offering tastings to go with a great view of the river and live music through the duration of the event.

Last year the event sold out in under two hours! The online tickets were gone much faster than that with the last of the tickets being purchased at the brewery. If you want to go to the event this year, I suggest that you do not hesitate to purchase your tickets. The tickets go for $75 apiece for general admission and $100 for a VIP ticket. A Shuttle bus will be picking up and dropping off in the parking lot located directly behind Russian River Brewing Co. You can catch the shuttle for a $10 fee. Mark LaGris, RR Beer Revival organizer, has done an amazing job turning this event into arguably one of the most anticipated festivals in northern California each year. The website states “If you can’t have fun at this one…you can’t have fun. Don’t take our word for it, find someone who came last year and ask them if they’ll be coming back.”

If you don’t read this blog until after 1pm, when the tickets go on sale chances are that all the tickets will be gone. Not to fret. Mark is teaming up with Orhan Sarabi, Santa Rosa Marathon Race Director, to put on the 1^st annual Ready, Set, Growl Beer Festival just one week after the Russian River Beer Revival.
