St. Florian’s Brewery will be celebrating their 2nd Anniversary on Saturday, February 7th. The celebration will take place at the brewery taproom located at 7704A Bell Rd. in Windsor. The all day celebration will be between 12pm and 8pm. Belgian Style Flashover, a new limited release beer, will make its debut. A growler launch, food vendors and live music between 3pm and 6pm will all be a part of the festivities as well.

Aron and Amy Levin, owners, have been hard at work upgrading the bottling facility as part of a multi-phase expansion. They are currently brewing at capacity and have plenty to do running a brewery. With that in mind you may be surprised to hear that Aron has a full-time job as a fireman and hence the name of the brewery. Amy keeps plenty busy with the day to day operations, marketing and just about everything the brewery needs other than brewing. Aron’s twenty years of home brewing prepared him for the title of Brewmaster. The couple are proud parents of two toddlers that Amy hopes will grow with an interest to join in the family business someday.

St. Florian is regarded as a patron of firemen. Many consider the saint a powerful protector in danger from fire or water. The brewery pays homage to the men and women that bravely rush in to put out the fire when everyone else is rushing out. St. Florian Brewery’s official tag line is “let’s drink to the hero in all of us”. The Levins donate a minimum of 5% of the brewery’s profits to fire related and community based organizations.

“It means so much to us that some people come out to the brewery every weekend,” said Amy when talking about a great core of regulars at the taproom. She hopes to see some new faces along with many familiar ones at the two year anniversary. For more information about the brewery and the beers that they produce go to www.stfloriansbrewery.com
