RateBeer released their list of ‘Top 100 Beers in the World for 2014’ this morning. Russian River Brewing Company has five beers on this prestigious list. Beatification, Consecration, Supplication, Pliny the Younger and Pliny the Elder all made it.

RateBeer is one of the largest and most respected beer forums in the world. Millions of people have posted beer reviews on the website since it launched in the year 2000. The ‘Top 100’ list is released annually, and brings notoriety to a brewery that makes the list. Skyrocketing sales and interest are sure to follow for those that earn their spot on the list.

The week long release of ‘RateBeer Best Awards for 2014’ began on Wednesday, January 21st with the ‘Top New Brewers’ list. A different category has been released at midnight each day since. The final list will be released on Thursday, January 29th. That list will be for ‘Best Beers, Brewer, and New Brewer by Country’. The other two lists between now and then include the ‘Best Beers by Style’ category and the ‘Top New Releases of 2014’.
