Almanac Beer invades Rincon Valley

As if there weren’t enough fun beer things to do this weekend, what with the Sonoma County Harvest Fair on Saturday and the weekend-long  Octubrefest at Carneros Brewing, here’s yet another outstanding option: Almanac Beer from San Francisco will be taking over the tasting room at Rincon Valley Wine & Craft Beer, at 4927 Sonoma Highway in Santa Rosa, from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday. Beer is a tough thing to drag into the whole “Farm to Table” artisan food scene. It is pretty easy to grow your own hops, at least in this area, though they are finicky.
