See? We’re not the only ones noticing this new beer thingy going on in Sonoma County. The annual Harvest Fair announced yesterday that it will add, for the first time, beer and cider tastings to its popular Tasting Pavilion, which had previously been the exclusive province of wines.

“Sonoma County has developed into a hot spot for artisan breweries and their hand crafted ales are earning their own spotlight,” the fair explained in a press release. “This highly anticipated addition to the already exclusive tasting experience, will offer guests a complete feast for the senses.”We’ll keep you posted on the beery lineup.

The fair runs Oct. 4, 5, and 6 at the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, with tastings Friday evening and from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The fair is free, but the Tasting Pavilion will cost $50 per person, or two for $95.
