The Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50 will host the 19th Annual Battle of the Brews fundraiser on Saturday, March 28th. The event will once again be held in the Grace Pavilion at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Attendees will have the option of purchasing a ‘People’s Choice Main Event’ ticket for $40 or a ‘Craft Cup’ ticket for $95. All attendees will have an opportunity to select the ‘People’s Choice’ for best brewery, but the winner of the ‘Craft Cup’ will be selected by a panel of professional judges.

The ‘People’s Choice Main Event’ ticket allows you to sample brews from dozens of participating breweries between 4pm and 8pm, with the taps being closed at 7pm. Cover Me Badd and the Pat Jordan Band will perform during those hours.

The all access ‘Craft Cup’ ticket will include entry at 1pm. Sandwich lovers may look forward to the ‘Which Hunt, a judged competition between local restaurants, to see who makes the best sandwich in Sonoma County. Other perks include entry to the ‘Main Event’, live jazz music, vendor demonstrations, and an entry into a raffle.

All proceeds will go to helping Sonoma County children in need. The official Battle of the Brews website states that over the last 18 years this event, “has raised nearly $1,000,000 to help change the lives of needy children.”
