The 7th Annual SF Beer Week officially kicks off this Friday, February 6th, and will conclude on February 14th. Over six hundred events hosted and organized by more than two hundred breweries, restaurants, bars and retail shops will help celebrate the craft beer industry throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Events will take place from Santa Rosa to San Jose, and many places in between. Events include opportunities to meet the brewers, beer and food pairings, beer release parties, homebrewing classes and limited release beers, amongst other fun and educational options.

The presenting sponsor, San Francisco Brewers Guild, will kick it all off with the Opening Gala. The Gala takes place on Friday, February 6th at the Fort Mason Center Herbst Pavilion in San Francisco between 6pm and 10pm. Over 80 breweries will be pouring at this event.

Taps, Fog Belt Brewing Company, Rossi’s 1906 Dance Hall, BeerCraft and Woodfour Brewing Company all have events planned in Sonoma County. The 4th Annual Black & White Beer Ball will take place in Santa Rosa on Friday, February 13th.

With so many options and so little time, I suggest that you check out the official SF Beer Week website for all the details and plan your days out in advance. www.sfbeerweek.org

Have a great time exploring, but always designate a driver or use public transportation.
