Kay Michaels, cheesemonger for NYC’s Eataly, and Ellen Cavalli, co-owner of Windsor based Tilted Shed Ciderworks, will be co-presenting a cider and cheese workshop featuring ciders from both the east and west coast.

The event will take place on Sunday, August 3rd at SHED, which is located on 25 North Street in Healdsburg.

The event hours are from 3 to 5 pm. Seats are being limited to thirty so I suggest that you contact them either by phone at (707)431-7433 or send them an email at be@healdsburgshed.com to check on availability.

The cost to reserve a seat is $50.

Those attending will be treated to a flight of six small batch ciders that will be paired with artisan cheeses.

Local producers that will be present are Devoto Orchards Cider, Gypsy Cheese Co., Tilted Shed Ciderworks and Weirauch Farm & Creamery.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the start of apple harvest than to showcase small batch traditional ciders with artisan cheeses, and enjoy what both coasts have to offer,” Cavalli said.
