Brew Dogs is a show going into its second season on the Esquire Network. The show follows James Watt and Martin Dickie who are the co-owners of the UK’s fastest growing brewery, named BrewDog of course.

The second season begins on June 25. Filming is currently under way. James and Martin travel America visiting different beer towns along the way. The featured town will be Santa Rosa when the Brew Dogs filming crew pay Heritage Public House on 1901 Mendocino Ave. a visit today, June 11 at 7:30 pm!

“Martin and I (James) were bored of the industrially brewed lagers and stuffy ales that dominated the UK market. We decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament was to brew our own beers. Consequently in April 2007 BrewDog was born.

Both only 24 at the time, we leased a building, got some scary bank loans, spent all our money on stainless steel and started making some hardcore craft beers. We brewed tiny batches, filled bottles by hand and sold our beers at local markets and out of the back of our beat up old van.

Our biggest mission when we set up BrewDog was to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. And that is still our biggest mission today.”

-James Watt, co-owner of BrewDog

Heritage Public House is a craft beer bar with rotating taps featuring craft breweries located in California. Heritage will be launching their own line of brews that will be produced and poured there very soon. They also offer small production wines and a tasty food menu. Heritage is one more fine example of the gems that we have right here in Sonoma County.
