It’s never too early to mark your beer drinking calendar. So whatcha doing on June 7? How about BeerFest 2014 at Wells Fargo Center, offering food from gourmet producers and pours from about 60 area brewers from 1-5 p.m.?
You in? Good, because tickets are on sale now for $40, $5 off the normal advance price and $10 off the door price. The trick is that the $40 rate is only available through March 12, organizers tell me. Tickets get you unlimited food and beer tastings plus a comemorative glass.
This is the 23rd annual BeerFest, which benefits Face to Face, an organization serving Sonoma County residents with HIV and AIDS.
The specific lineup of beer and food is still being hashed out, but last year’s lineup included pretty much all the Northern California standouts plus regional and national stars such as Ninkasi, Stone, and Big Sky, so there is no reason to expect anything less this year.
So mark that calendar already.
